Compatible terminals
Which attendance terminals work with Atlaxys Tempo?
The reference terminal is the Hikvision DS-K1T321MFWX (face recognition, fingerprint, card), read directly over the local network. ZKTeco terminals in PUSH mode are supported on an experimental basis, and any device that exports a CSV file (person, date-time) can feed Tempo. The table below states, for each case, what has really been verified.

Documented, tested, verified: the difference
Documented
The manufacturer describes the function in its documentation. Nothing guarantees that a given model or firmware behaves that way.
Tested in software
Tempo is tested automatically against a simulated terminal or sample files. This proves Tempo’s logic, not the device’s behaviour.
Verified on a real terminal
The requests were run on a physical device and the responses recorded. This is the only proof of compatibility for a specific model and firmware.
Compatibility matrix

Three ways to bring punches in
Tempo queries the terminal
Hikvision (ISAPI). Tempo connects to the terminal every 2 minutes and reads new events. It is the most complete method: connection test, enrolment, clock diagnostics.
The terminal sends to Tempo
ZKTeco in PUSH mode (experimental). The terminal sends its punches to the PC as they happen, over the local network.
File import
attlog.dat or CSV, from a USB stick or another application. Useful without a network link or to bring in history.
Before installing a terminal
- A fixed IP address for the terminal and, in PUSH mode, for the PC
- GMT+0 time zone without daylight saving and NTP synchronisation on the terminal
- A Windows 10/11 PC switched on during working hours, on the same network
- A unique administrator password for each terminal
- Your CNDP declaration or authorisation and employee notice, before collecting biometric data
Frequently asked questions
Do you sell the terminals?
The terminal can be part of the quote, or you can use your own if it is compatible. See pricing and quotes.
My terminal is not in the list. What now?
If it exports punches as CSV, Tempo can import them. Otherwise, send us the model and firmware version: we will give you an honest answer, even if it is no.
Already have a Hikvision terminal?
Tell us the exact model and firmware version: we will tell you what is verified for that model before you commit.
